Such earnest essays mean nothing when the same company's lobbyists work to kill or water down audit bills in Massachusetts and Washington. Lobbying disclosures are public, and the super PAC money tells its own story. Until the government affairs shop matches the chief scientist's words, this is just do as I say, not as I do.
