Milo Yiannopoulos spent years being one of the most deliberately cruel figures in politics, celebrating others' suffering and riding grift after grift to stay relevant. Getting deported after overstaying a visa and then running to Piers Morgan to play the victim is just the final act of a career built on bad-faith performance. Nobody should donate attention to people like this. The attention economy is what keeps these characters shaping politics in the most counterproductive ways.
Anti-Trump narrative
Milo admits he stands exposed as a hypocrite, but recognizing your own hypocrisy is how people learn and change. He may once have cheered on mass deportation, but living through it has forced him to confront the human cost of those policies.
