Is this a realistic health fix or a pathetically low bar for what our bodies truly need?

The Spin

Narrative A

A five-minute walk every hour is all it takes to boost mood, cut fatigue and stay sharp at work. This study shows that hourly movement breaks improve alertness and productivity without disrupting the workday. Prolonged sitting drives up the risk of heart disease and type 2 diabetes, and this simple habit is a realistic fix.

Narrative B

Framing five-minute walks as a health solution undersells what the body actually needs. The WHO recommends 150-300 minutes of moderate activity weekly because cardio, strength and flexibility each serve distinct functions that brief strolls simply can't cover. Lowering the bar this far through all sorts of optimization "hacks" doesn't make health advice accessible, it makes it meaningless.
