The DSA is a sweeping censorship framework that hands unelected EU bureaucrats the power to dictate what the world reads and shares online, and its regulatory burdens fall almost exclusively on American tech companies — making it a de facto tariff disguised as consumer protection. Vague hate speech rules and sky-high fines guarantee platforms censor lawful speech just to avoid punishment.
