The Seoul Central District Court on Thursday sentenced former South Korean President Yoon Suk-Yeol to life imprisonment after convicting him of leading an insurrection related to his martial law declaration. The court found that Yoon sent troops to the National Assembly with the intent to paralyze its functions.
