Jay-Z (born Shawn Corey Carter on December 4, 1969) is an American rapper, songwriter, and businessman widely regarded as one of the most influential hip-hop artists of all time, with over 140 million records sold worldwide. He is also co-founder of Roc-A-Fella Records and Roc Nation, and became the first hip-hop billionaire according to Forbes in 2019.
