A recantation can clear Jay-Z of this charge without clearing the industry that produced it. Diddy wasn't a lone freak, as he sat on a pyramid of leverage, NDAs and quiet men who toasted with him. Rappers, including Jay-Z, have even hinted at this culture in their lyrics, bragging about sex parties, escorts and other illicit activities, profiting off of a lifestyle that's destroyed the lives of countless women. From Diddy to Harvey Weinstein to Jeffrey Epstein, there's a widely known, yet under investigated, group of elites who never pay for their sins.
