Samantha Burgess

Samantha Burgess is the deputy director of the Copernicus Climate Change Service (C3S) at ECMWF, where she leads climate monitoring, climate observations, and quality assurance. Prior to C3S, Burgess held leadership positions in government, the private sector, NGOs, and academia, focusing on ocean policy, environmental resilience, and sustainable finance.
