The wife of a sitting member of SCOTUS played the role of a right-wing lobbyist spreading false claims to the POTUS' Chief of Staff. Meanwhile, her husband was ruling on cases that might potentially involve his own wife's communications. None of this is above board. Just imagine the outrage if a progressive Justice were caught up in a scandal of this magnitude.

Right narrative

A media uproar is being drummed up over nothing, in an attempt to tarnish a sitting Supreme Court Justice while he suffers from a serious threat to his health. Some will stop at nothing to undermine and politicize the highest court in the land.

Progressive narrative

Thomas' texts are full of references that track back to the QAnon conspiracy theorist movement, which has been labeled a domestic terrorism threat by the FBI. They demonstrate just how influential the dangerous and disjointed movement has become in some high-level conservative circles.

Left narrative

Title 42 is an unethical blight on Trump and Biden's administrations. This measure is no longer needed to protect public health and is only hurting asylum seekers. Allowing the provision to expire would reopen the US to people who are only looking to improve the lives of themselves and their children.

Right narrative

Revoking Tile 42 will only worsen the US southern border crisis. Title 42 allows the DHS to regulate the inflow of cross-border migrants without causing mass hysteria. If lifted, the migrant influx at the southern border would likely triple and devastate the immigration system.

Right narrative

Biden's comments caused an international firestorm and prompted many to believe the president was escalating US-Russia tensions during a time when Ukraine was attempting to negotiate peace talks. Harris's response was an attempt to clear up the problematic and unecessary gaffe.

Left narrative

Biden has already clarified that he was not calling for regime change in Russia - just expressing outrage over the horrors committed in Ukraine. Now Harris has reiterated that position. Everyone's on the same page.

Cynical narrative

Whether regime change is a formal policy or "more an aspiration" as Biden now claims, it is fundamentally misguided; regime change doesn't work and US foreign policy has a a record of decades of failures to prove it.

Left narrative

Trump's social media platform has been a massive technology failure. Besides the fact that the app hardly works, daily downloads have plummeted and Trump himself doesn't even use it.

Pro-Trump narrative

Don't count Truth Social out from being an insurgent tech success. At launch, the platform soared to the number one spot on Apple's App Store and long waiting lists to use it are indicative of the massive demand for Truth Social. The platform's achievements will be a strong message to corrupt Silicon Valley CEOs who think they can limit free speech in America.

Cynical narrative

This has red flags well beyond tech issues. Truth Social is being taken public by a "blank-check" company or SPAC called Digital World Acquisitions. Digital World is now under investigation by the SEC and the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority for potential legal violations.

Left narrative

Trump's endorsement of Palin is the natural next natural step in the devolution of the Republican Party, which now fully embraces the most unhinged candidates and celebrates their defiance of established norms. Palin started the trend, and now Trump returns the favor.

Pro-Trump narrative

As Governor, Palin was a breath of fresh air for Alaskan voters who had endured a spate of scandals. Her experience fighting corruption and heading up fossil fuel and energy commissions make her the perfect foil for the Biden family's fraudulent behaviour and self-imposed energy crisis. No wonder she has secured the most desired endorsement in GOP politics - the support of Donald Trump.

Narrative C

Trump can't even endorse Palin without desecrating the memory of John McCain. To keep attacking an American hero and champion of conservative values shows the divisiveness within the GOP.

Narrative A

The EU must step up and follow Lithuania's lead in seeking full energy independence from Russian gas in response to Moscow's energy blackmail and Russian aggression in Ukraine.

Establishment-critical narrative

It's hypocritical to impose sanctions on Russia for invading Ukraine, but not on the US for invading Iraq for equally unjustified reasons, or on Israel for invading and annexing Arab lands.

Progressive narrative

The invasion of Ukraine could speed up the world's transition to renewable energy. The planet's dependence on fossil fuels has to weaken; this may hasten the inevitable.

Nerd narrative

According to the Metaculus community there is a 99% chance that at least three European countries will refuse to buy natural gas from Russia in 2022.

Anti-Russia narrative

This invasion is an egregious violation of international law. Putin's ultimate aim is to restore the Soviet empire, even if it takes massive bloodshed and false pretexts such as calling the 2014 Ukrainian revolution after a fraudulent election a "coup". This unprovoked attack is the latest chapter in Putin's Orwellian attempt to rewrite history.

Pro-Russia narrative

NATO and the US have ignored Russia's security concerns by breaking its promise not to expand eastward in return for German reunification. These concerns are legitimate and taking them seriously would have avoided the Ukraine tragedy.

Nerd narrative

According to the Mentaculus prediction community, if a bilateral cease-fire agreement is reached between Russian and Ukraine this year, it probably won't take effect until the end of June.
