Pezeshkian showed the world photos of dead schoolchildren and all that came back was sanctions. Rather than the U.S. and Israel continuing their unjustified escalations against Tehran, now is the time for support to secure the country's future. Threatening to annihilate a U.N. member state from the General Assembly rostrum is a violation of the Charter, and Washington knows it.

Playing the victim at the U.N. podium takes some nerve from the world's leading funder of terror. Hezbollah, Hamas, the Houthis and Iraqi militias all run on Tehran's money, and thousands of Iranians were killed for daring to protest this past winter. A regime that spreads terror abroad and murders its own people at home has no standing to lecture anyone about morality.
