Version 7.18.3
Waging war against a sovereign nation is itself an act of aggression. Every U.S. drone shot down underscores the consequences of violating Iranian airspace: humiliation and an increasingly costly conflict. Assassinations and bombardments raise serious questions of war crimes, and no amount of political spin can turn a campaign of military domination into legitimate self-defense.
Keeping the Strait of Hormuz open is essential to safeguarding global trade and protecting forces under attack, not to assert dominance. Limited strikes targeting missile installations and naval bases are intended to respond to aggression without triggering a wider regional conflict. Allowing attacks on American aircraft to go unanswered would embolden further aggression.
Trump's Iran policy exposes the danger of reckless leadership: secret strikes, public denials and shifting claims of "defense" while risking a wider war. These attacks threaten regional stability and global trade, all while Trump seeks a political escape at home from a conflict of his own making. Calling aggression defensive does not make it peace.
