Version 7.18.3
Peace in Ukraine can only hold if a capable force is trained, equipped and ready the moment the guns go quiet. Rebuilding Ukraine's military, reopening the skies and clearing the sea lanes is the surest way to deter another invasion and keep the rest of Europe out of the firing line. This is impossible without extensive preparation, making exercises like these essential.
The West's talk of lasting peace rings hollow when the plan involves stuffing a foreign army into Ukraine. Instead of settling tensions, hostile actions like these bring Europe closer to direct conflict with Russia and provide the Kyiv regime with another excuse to prolong the war. If Europe wants peace, it should address the war's root causes, not prepare for occupation.
The Coalition of the Willing is a European farce, especially when the states involved lack the critical mass or cash to deter Russian aggression. Critically, it also wastes precious resources on what can stop Putin: financing Ukraine. Every pound and euro spent on that endeavour bleeds Moscow's war machine dry, a proven outcome unlike Europe's military dress rehearsal.
