Starbucks Korea CEO Sohn Jeong-hyun was fired by Shinsegae Group Chairman Chung Yong-jin on Monday after the company launched a "Tank Day" tumbler promotion on the anniversary of the 1980 Gwangju Uprising, drawing widespread public criticism.
