This all-weather strategic partnership is exactly the kind of multilateral commitment the region needs.
Pro-India narrative
CPEC runs through Indian territory under illegal Pakistani occupation, making the deal a direct and brazen assault on Indian sovereignty. Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh are integral parts of India, and no joint statement from Beijing and Islamabad changes that legal reality. Dressing up territorial violations as economic cooperation doesn't make them legitimate.
