The Spin

Narrative A

Miles Guo's 30-year sentence is deserved. Guo weaponized anti-CCP sentiment to drain Chinese immigrants of life savings, funding luxury cars and yachts while victims contemplated suicide. The New Federal State of China, GTV and every investment scheme were elaborate traps built on manufactured political identity — affinity fraud at its most cynical and destructive.

Narrative B

Security experts confirmed Guo was public enemy number one to the CCP, a genuine target of Operation Fox Hunt with its tens of thousands of agents and unlimited budget. The Chinese government had every motive to pressure investors into filing false complaints and manufacture a prosecution to silence its most prominent dissident. A man forged by Tiananmen and CCP imprisonment deserves scrutiny over who truly benefits from his conviction.
