Version 7.6.4
Erdoğan's escalating threats — calling for Allah to destroy Zionist Israel and vowing to "liberate" Jerusalem — reveal a dangerous neo-Ottoman ambition that demands a firm response. Turkey's military expansion into Syria and Libya, combined with its support for Islamist networks, makes Ankara a genuine regional threat, not just a rhetorical nuisance. Israel has every right to name this threat and build the security architecture needed to counter it.
Israel's recognition of the Armenian genocide is a transparent attempt to manufacture a new enemy after its campaign against Iran stalled. Turkey has repeatedly shown restraint — maintaining military hotlines with Israel, keeping oil routes open and helping prevent Iranian assassination plots targeting Israelis. Turning Ankara into an existential threat ignores that record and serves Netanyahu's domestic political needs far more than any genuine security reality.
