A film built on unverifiable anonymous voices smearing IDF soldiers as mass murderers is a betrayal undertaken for foreign applause. Trading the good name of a country at war for prizes crosses the line from criticism into treason. Citizenship carries obligations, and those who torch their homeland's reputation abroad should answer for it.
Anti-Israel narrative
Twenty-four Israeli military and intelligence whistleblowers described the AI targeting systems behind the killing of tens of thousands of civilians in Gaza, and the response was a threat to erase the filmmakers' citizenship. Strip away the right to report uncomfortable truths, and nothing resembling a democracy is left.
