This suspension must become permanent, and mandatory body cameras should follow. This agency has shown it can't police itself, and half-measures won't cut it.

Halting ICE traffic stops guts the agency's ability to make arrests, since officers rely on vehicle stops to avoid dangerous home raids. The shootings were carried out against those who posed credible threats, not by rogue agents. Pulling back enforcement in response to resistance only emboldens those flouting immigration law.
