Comey Case Prosecutor Steps Down Before Trial
Is this a sign of a crumbling case or a serious trial getting a strategic upgrade?

Rather than the doom narrative the media is spinning, replacing Matthew Petracca with veteran AUSA Timothy Severo is a deliberate upgrade heading into the October trial. The DOJ is putting its strongest prosecutor at the helm when it matters most. Swapping in more experienced trial talent is competent preparation, not retreat.
