Trump continues to hold useful conversations with Putin and although the discussion will not yield peace immediately, it was positive. Russia's offer to aid the U.S. with respect to Iran demonstrates that diplomacy between the nations is possible, and Trump is the president to lead this.
Pro-Ukraine narrative
Trump's failure to condemn Russian targeting of Ukrainian cities is an outrage. After years of relentless, unprovoked attacks on a sovereign, democratic nation, Kyiv has successfully and legitimately destroyed the Russian planes used to illegally bomb its population. Zelenskyy is right to say that: "If the powerful do not stop Putin ... they share responsibility with him."
