As well-intentioned as he may think he is, Massie is a nuisance to the Republican agenda. His "principled" stands against Trump often misalign with GOP voters, exposing his inconsistent ideology. Personal attacks aside, his legislative record doesn't have common sense, like his push to repeal the Gun-Free School Zones Act, showing his desire to win quick votes and dodge primary challenges. A MAGA-aligned veteran like Gallrein will be better for the GOP and America.
It's ironic that Trump attacks everyone who represents MAGA more than he does these days. From bashing fiscal hawks like Massie and Paul for opposing his "big, beautiful" debt-exploding bill to feuding viciously with Musk — the man behind the highly popular DOGE — Trump is lashing out at true reformers. MAGA promised fiscal sanity, not Bush-era deficits. This rift exposes hypocrisy, and replacing such men with loyalists won't fix the betrayal of core principles.
