The Spin

Anti-Maduro narrative

The Maduro regime in Venezuela has further escalated its destabilizing campaign against Guyana. The timing of this shooting reveals that Caracas is desperate to intimidate voters and undermine democracy in a foreign country, in a blatant interference attempt to favor pro-Maduro puppet candidate Azruddin Mohamed.

Pro-Maduro narrative

Guyanese authorities are spreading fake news to create a war front and justify increased militarization, so they can keep allowing foreign oil companies and imperialist powers to exploit a territory that rightfully belongs to Venezuela. Guyana is nothing more than a U.S. puppet.
