Pro-Trump narrative
Trump has accomplished so much during his two terms as president, and no state has backed his agenda better than Florida — making the Sunshine State the perfect location for Trump's presidential library. There are so many great stories from Trump's presidency to tell, and there could be no place better for this endeavor than his home state.
Anti-Trump narrative
The irony is obviously lost on Trump, DeSantis and others involved in this project that they're going to use a site that once helped Cuban refugees to honor a man who has done nothing but make life difficult for immigrants. In addition, there's a hotel as part of the project, as Trump can't just have a library to educate the public — there has to be a money-making aspect to the site.
