Durov's claims are unfounded and his timing is suspicious, as he is making censorship accusations in the middle of Moldova's election cycle just like he did with Romania. Musk amplifying Russian propaganda from Durov on election day shows how disinformation spreads when foreign actors coordinate their messaging in order to undermine democracy.

Establishment-critical narrative

It is clear that French intelligence exploited Durov's legal troubles to pressure Telegram into censoring legitimate Moldovan voices that simply opposed establishment positions. Moldova's election was rigged from the start, with opposition parties banned, leaders jailed and observers blocked. Western democratic values are nothing but elaborate lies.
