The Facts
Palestinians and Israeli police clashed for a second day in a row on Fri. at Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem. Palestinians threw stones while the police entered the compound firing rubber bullets and stun grenades. The confrontation left at least 30 Palestinians and one Israeli police officer injured.
Clashes also occurred on Thurs. around the entrance to the mosque. Several Palestinians were wounded after Israeli police used pepper spray, tear gas, and rubber bullets, while Palestinian youth shot fireworks at Israeli groups that passed through the compound.
