Ramasamy Palanisamy

Ramasamy Palanisamy (born 16 September 1955), commonly known as P. Ramasamy, is a Malaysian politician who served as the Deputy Chief Minister of Penang II and Member of the Penang State Executive Council (EXCO) under the Pakatan Rakyat and Pakatan Harapan governments from 2008 to 2023. He is also a former professor of political science at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia and has been a prominent advocate for the rights of the Indian community in Malaysia.
