Hassan Sheikh Mohamud

Hassan Sheikh Mohamud is a Somali politician who has served two non-consecutive terms as President of Somalia (2012-2017 and 2022-present). He is an academic and civil society leader who co-founded the Peace and Development Party and worked in education and development sectors before entering politics.
