CNAS

The Center for a New American Security (CNAS) is a Washington, D.C.-based independent, bipartisan, nonprofit think tank founded in 2007 by Michèle Flournoy and Kurt Campbell that focuses on national security and defense policy. CNAS engages policymakers, experts, and the public with fact-based research and analysis to shape national security discussions, and is generally described as centrist to center-left in its orientation.
