Syd Steyerhart

Syd Steyerhart is a Democratic politician who served as mayor of Spokane, Washington from 2016 to 2019. She previously worked as a community organizer and nonprofit executive. Steyerhart focused on homelessness, affordable housing, and economic development during her tenure. She ran unsuccessfully for Washington's 5th Congressional District in 2020, losing to Republican incumbent Cathy McMorris Rodgers.
