Mitch McConnell

Mitch McConnell is an American Republican Party politician who has served as the senior US senator from Kentucky since 1985. He has held the post of Senate minority leader since 2021 and previously acted as majority leader and majority whip. McConnell has led the Senate Republican Conference since 2007 and is the longest-serving Senate party leader in US history.
