Ian Chapman
Ian Chapman is a British plasma physicist who served as CEO of the UK Atomic Energy Authority from 2016 to 2024, overseeing the UK's fusion energy research program including the Joint European Torus (JET) facility. He is recognized internationally for his leadership in nuclear fusion research and was appointed as Director-General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) in 2024.
