Dr. David Henig is an Associate Professor in the Department of Cultural Anthropology at Utrecht University. His research focuses on the anthropology of postwar societies, particularly in Bosnia and Herzegovina, exploring themes such as displacement, borders, and transregional mobility. Henig has conducted extensive ethnographic fieldwork in the region, examining the social and political transformations following the Yugoslav Wars. His work contributes to understanding how communities navigate the legacies of conflict and reconstruct their social landscapes.
