Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni said Tuesday in Prague that her government would not cut ties with Cairo after three Egyptian security officials were convicted over the 2016 abduction of Giulio Regeni. Meloni said she doubted that closing political and diplomatic channels with Cairo would bring Italy closer to truth and justice.
