Spanish Judge Juan Carlos Peinado asked the Supreme Court on Tuesday to investigate Justice Minister Félix Bolaños for alleged embezzlement and perjury related to the 2018 hiring of Cristina Álvarez, who served as an advisor to Begoña Gómez, the wife of Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez.
