The Taraia Object expedition, a joint effort by the Archaeological Legacy Institute, Purdue Research Foundation and Purdue University, announced Monday it found no conclusive evidence that wreckage from Amelia Earhart's plane lay in a lagoon on Nikumaroro Island in the South Pacific.
