Version 7.7.3
Zuckerberg's $300 million yacht was closer to a stranded vessel than the cruise ship that actually helped, and the crew repeatedly refused to respond to Coast Guard radio calls. Leaving two women, a child and a dog stranded at sea while sitting on a superyacht is a moral failure no PR spin can fix. This is exactly the kind of moment that reveals what someone's priorities really are.
Zuckerberg wasn't even aboard the Launchpad when the skiff ran out of fuel, and the Coast Guard itself determined the vessel was not in distress. The yacht crew was operating on a different radio channel and by the time they reviewed the broadcast, help was already underway. Turning a routine maritime assist into a character attack on someone who wasn't present is a stretch driven by outrage.
