The Spin

Narrative A

The accused perpetrator fired at least 10 rounds from an assault rifle into Rihanna's home while the singer and possibly her three young children were inside, turning a family residence into a war zone. Four bullets struck the house in this terrifying attack that could have killed a mother and her kids on International Women's Day. This incident must be prosecuted to the fullest.

Narrative B

This shooting proves California has become lawless under its failed leadership. Even Beverly Hills mansions offer no protection anymore when criminals can freely fire assault weapons at celebrities' homes. Gavin Newsom's policies have created a state where there are literally no safe places left.
