The Spin

Narrative A

Seven women have come forward with detailed, corroborated accounts of David Sullivan using his power over the glamour modeling industry to coerce young women into sex, and the evidence is damning. The Met Police and the Independent Football Regulator are both now investigating, and Sullivan's own admission that he paid for sex with a girl he believed was 16 or 17 makes his blanket denials ring hollow. Threatening to sue journalists doesn't erase decades of alleged predatory behavior.

Narrative B

Sullivan has categorically denied every allegation and vowed to pursue legal action against the BBC and any outlet repeating what he calls fabricated claims. No charges have ever been brought against him despite multiple police investigations. The BBC's two-year investigation relied heavily on anonymous sources, and Sullivan's lawyers have directly challenged the credibility and plausibility of key accounts. Resigning to fight false allegations is not an admission of guilt.
