Version 7.7.2
Graham was a giant of American foreign policy whose decades of service left a lasting mark on U.S.-Israel relations and national defense. His repeated visits to Israel after the October 7 massacre showed a rare depth of commitment that went beyond politics. Graham's legacy as a principled advocate for American strength abroad will be hard to replace.
Graham's record was defined by an appetite for military intervention that cost Americans dearly, and his political identity shifted so dramatically over the years that it's fair to question what he actually stood for. The circumstances of his death deserve more scrutiny than the media is giving them. Whatever his legacy, South Carolina deserves a replacement who holds firmer, more consistent convictions.
