US Measles Cases Hit New Record as Vaccination Rates Wane

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has reported 2,318 confirmed measles cases in the country as of late July 2026, surpassing the 2025 full-year record of 2,289 — itself the highest annual total in more than 30 years.
