Version 7.7.2
America's 250th birthday is a genuine cause for pride — built by farmers, blacksmiths and soldiers who defeated the most powerful empire on earth through sheer determination. From Lexington and Concord to two world wars, this nation has always risen to the moment. That legacy of winning and unity is worth celebrating loudly, and Task Force 250 is making sure every American can be part of it.
This is a bloated mess of misplaced priorities — fencing off monuments, hosting fairs nobody attends and spending millions on spectacles that deliver nothing meaningful. The Electoral College still warps democracy, Puerto Rico still lacks statehood, and the country keeps patching over real problems with fireworks and fanfare. Marking 250 years deserves more than performative pageantry.
