Foreign mercenaries and weapons networks are fueling RSF atrocities in Sudan, with Colombian contractors and UAE-linked entities providing military support. Reports of Israeli assistance raise further questions about outside complicity, while Washington acknowledges foreign involvement without fully confronting it. The RSF faces grave war crimes and genocide allegations, exposing how foreign-backed pipelines sustain Sudan's devastation while powerful sponsors evade scrutiny.
Pinning Sudan's carnage solely on RSF backers ignores that the SAF is also armed by Iran, Russia and Turkey, and has likewise been accused of killing civilians and obstructing humanitarian aid. Foreign weapons and military support are flowing to both sides, fueling and prolonging a devastating conflict. Selective outrage over RSF support while overlooking the SAF's external backers undermines meaningful accountability and makes bringing this brutal war to an end even harder.
