UK Man Admits 60 Counts of Drugging and Raping Wife
The Facts
- A British man in his 60s pleaded guilty Monday at Manchester Minshull Street Crown Court to drugging, raping and sexually assaulting his wife at their home over more than two decades, admitting 45 further charges shortly before his trial was due to begin.
- The man cannot be named because doing so would identify his wife, who is entitled to lifelong anonymity. He has now admitted 60 offences in total, having pleaded guilty to 15 of the charges at an earlier hearing in June.
- The charges include 21 counts of rape, 15 counts of assault by penetration, 11 counts of sexual assault and one count of sharing intimate images without consent, covering a period between November 2004 and his arrest in October 2025.
