For decades, the rape, trafficking and murder of British girls were ignored by the police, local authorities and successive governments. This injustice demands real accountability. The report released on Tuesday is another desperate attempt to smear the British Muslim community by claiming an "undeniable link" between Islam and grooming gangs. This reckless accusation poses a risk to the safety and livelihood of innocent, ordinary British Muslims who bear no responsibility for these criminal acts, yet are routinely the target of Lowe's attacks.
