The Spin

Left narrative

Though a guilty verdict has now been reached, the media was overly hasty in expressing skepticism about the narrative as it happened. Politically and emotionally driven responses to this incident led many to label these two guilty before an investigation had even taken place. Many aspects of society are always on the look-out for alleged crimes perpetrated by foreign nationals.

Right narrative

The victims in this case have been vindicated, despite initial left-leaning skepticism over their testimony. It is time the media and political class start believing young girls, rather than treat attacks on this vulnerable demographic as a fabrication that upsets their political ideology.
