Witnesses on the ground saw violence, hate and Islamophobia firsthand, making clear these events pose a real danger to public safety. A repeat offender with multiple prison stints leading a rampage through London streets is a law enforcement failure.
Right narrative
The U.K. government selectively banned multiple right-wing speakers from attending the Unite the Kingdom rally, a move that's purely political targeting dressed up as public safety. Borders stay open broadly, yet specific conservatives get barred for daring to speak at a lawful rally. Free speech either applies to everyone or it means nothing.
