The Turkish state is supposed to protect kids from adult content and predatory networks. These raids uncovered drugs, smuggled alcohol, an unlicensed gun and paid "social friendship" schemes pushing sexual content onto minors, plus suspicious foreign money flowing into the groups involved. Enforcing obscenity and prostitution laws to preserve families isn't persecution.
Calling a purge family protection fools nobody. Peaceful protesters were beaten and hauled off for speaking up, organizations were prosecuted and social media accounts were blocked, all for advocating human rights. Treating sexual orientation and gender identity as a crime shreds the rights to free expression, assembly and equal treatment that any rule-of-law state must guarantee.
