Trump Threatens NBC Host With FCC Action
Does the media deserve punishment for distorted coverage or is Trump weaponizing regulation to silence unflattering journalism?

The FCC should look into what's going on at NBC. Licensed broadcast stations aren't above accountability, and if networks want federal spectrum privileges, they have to meet basic factual-integrity standards. Calling Trump's endorsement record mixed is a deliberate distortion on public airwaves.
Anti-Trump narrative
The FCC literally can't punish an individual journalist. It regulates broadcast licenses, not reporters. Welker's statement that Trump-backed candidates have had mixed results is backed by data. Using federal regulatory threats to silence accurate, unflattering coverage is an authoritarian move.
