That is extortion, letting rich firms buy an edge over ordinary Americans and reporters who deserve equal access to official statements. Every citizen, not just paying subscribers, has a right to know what the government is saying at the same time.

Truth API just distributes already-public posts fractionally faster, the same kind of subscription service countless news outlets and platforms offer every day. Left-wing activists and media groups are twisting this normal business practice into a lawsuit meant to silence Trump and hurt shareholders of his struggling company. Selling fast data feeds is common practice on Wall Street, not some corrupt scheme.
