Version 7.18.3
Torching cars and hurling fireworks at police counts as thuggery. When masked mobs can shut down a speaker before a single word is spoken, free speech in Europe is already on life support. Calling it "antifascism" does not change the fact that streets burn, arrests pile up and ordinary people pay for the wreckage.
Reducing antifascist protests to burning cars and clashes with police ignores the anger driving people into the streets. Free speech does not mean freedom from public opposition, and confronting far-right rhetoric is itself an exercise of democratic rights. Isolated violence should not be used to discredit an entire movement or silence legitimate dissent.
